What a great fortune it was to stumble upon Lisa Pazol while driving the roads of Bellingham looking for my first home. Through calling the phone number on a sign outside a property, I got in touch with Lisa. That evening, we saw that home as well as two others in the area. I immediately knew Lisa was the type of Realtor defined as “one of the good ones” in the first-time homebuyer books and articles I’d read over the recent years.
That night, Lisa sent me the following e-mail:
“Hi Adam! It was great to meet you this evening. It would be my pleasure to assist you in your home search and be an advocate for you throughout the home-buying process.
If you would like, I can schedule time on Friday to show you several Bellingham properties. Let me know if this is convenient. We could meet at my Franklin office in the morning and head over to Bellingham together.”
…and the e-mail continued.
The next day, I received from Lisa a detailed, professional itinerary outlining the properties we’d be visiting.
After a brief meeting to discuss the logistics of the home-buying process, Lisa and I were off to look at homes. Her ability to inquire, listen and get a feel for what I was really looking for in a home was amazing. All the while, she was a pleasure to be around.
Throughout the following weeks, we looked and looked and looked at homes and in just under 2 weeks found one that was ideally suited to my needs, wants and budget. In the process, Lisa reluctantly steered me (Lisa is painfully principled in not influencing her clients’ decisions J) away from a property I fell in love with that happened to be situated very close to high voltage power lines and in a flood zone. I went back to the property during a rain storm about a week later to find the land flooded, dual sump-pumps working overtime. I learned it’s easy for emotions to disrupt rational thought and it was much appreciated that one of us was not only not absorbed in them, but willing to speak up about it too.
We communicated on the phone, through e-mail and text message; days, evenings and weekends. Lisa’s response time was generally less than one minute.
After closing today, I am more than confident in strongly recommending Lisa Pazol to anyone looking to buy a home. In work ethic, integrity and personality, Lisa is a rare find and was such a pleasure to work with. Adam from Bellingham
